Christmas time...(picture overload)

i love christmas time.
we had a great christmas weekend with our family. we decided to go to idaho and i'm so happy we did. it was a 100% relaxed few days and really nice to be with our family and celebrate such special occasions.
lets get to the pictures.

sisterly love.
pre-idaho. we baked and decorated cookies. i love this about having a toddler. cooking and creating together.
abigail was very excited about putting up the "tree star"

the travel to idaho went great! abigail and mailie were both very content girls.
christmas eve. after mailie's blessing, the christmas festivities began!

abigail wrote a letter to santa.
then sent it to him through the chimney.

christmas day. abigail was so excited to see that santa had eaten the cookies she left. and then of course very excited to see what he left us all in our stockings. watching her made me so giddy. i loved her expressions and excitement.
we went to my brothers ward and my sister in law did a wonderful job with the christmas program. it was beautiful. then we got to witness my nephew receive the priesthood! i can not believe he is 12. he is honestly one of the sweetest boys/young men you could ever know.
then it was back home for family gifts to open.
this bake/tea/kitchen set has been awesome. not only does abigail love it, but i absolutely love playing with her with this stuff. i love that she is "baking" away and "feeding" us. imagination is wonderful.
be prepared to have your heart melt.
and if you'd like to see more, stroll on over to our facebook page, because she's seriously a smiley baby.
i love this pic. not only are they beautiful and adorable. but look how massive those bloomers are on mailie. it also looks as if she has shoulder pads. she's somewhat elvish looking here, and i love it.
twin cousins reunited. three years old! i wish they could play together more often. maybe we should move back to idaho :)
 quite happy in a stocking.
these are the stockings i made! still have to personalize them, but i was very happy with how they turned out.

post christmas.

abigail went atv'ing, and loved it. especially going by herself. and let's admire for a second josh's cowboy boots and basketball shorts combo. my dad gave him these cowboy boots, and i can't tell you how thrilled he was. he's my city boy "green acres" man ;)
trampoline time with nanna. another moment, wishing we were living in idaho again.
many attempts to get a family photo before heading back.

Temple lights are of course a must each season. Especially for Abigail. She would be one happy girl if we went to the temple every day.

and i thought it best to save this for last.
i mean, come on. we love this girl.
we have some seriously cute girls! :)
